Q - Is there something specific that happens in a person's life that causes MS?
There are two answers to this question:
Answer # 1: In just about every disease I have investigated one of three events, when carefully examined, seem to be pivotal in the development of the disease.
Chemical assault, an event where the person was exposed to chemicals (solvents, etc.).
Physical assault, an event where the person was exposed to some physical stress such as an accident, fall, or parasites (bacteria, virus, worms, etc.)
Emotional assault, an event where emotions were stressed; a loss, or other event in this area.
Why does one person exposed to the same or similar assault contract a disease and the next person walk away unaffected?
This question has been studied and pondered for years with no conclusion being universally accepted as THE answer. Here is my answer to the question.
As I studied this complex question, it became obvious that some things that contribute seem to be beyond our ability to change such as genetic background, age, etc.
However. . . a person can greatly change whether or to what degree the assault creates disease in his/her body.

Answer #2: Some common 20th - 21st century factors you should avoid to lessen your likelihood of creating disease.
Avoid items that are on the government's 'GENERALLY RECOGNIZED AS SAFE' (GRAS) list. These are substances created by the mega-corporations to allow products to have long-long-long shelf lives (increasing profits), enhancing the flavor or creating a pleasing texture. Many of these items were considered unsafe and illegal early in the 20th century, prior to the "correct people" being placed in position to change the regulations and approve these NON-FOODS. Read labels and begin to purchase your food in the produce isle. Generally, if the food will spoil in just a few days it is going to provide your body with health. If it will last for a long time it will more than likely NOT sustain you in good health.
Develop a healthy distrust for the "medical consensus." Medical consensus is the licensing basis that AMA regulated practitioners are forced to work within. In short your MD is forced to administer solutions that have been contrived by consensus, setting aside common sense, innovation and intuition. Failure to abide by this process can result in loss of license and income.
One day I was privileged to speak with a back pain specialist (MD) in length about medical consensus.
Here is the short version of our conversation:
The doctor told me that he is one of the top back surgeons in the country and he was recently enlisted to participate in the medical consensus process. He is not happy with the result. It seems that this process is done in a blind manner with no auditing. He is not supposed to openly discuss with his peers his recommendations and is not supposed to know who the others are that are creating the guidelines. He was asked for his protocol for a specific situation by a bureaucrat compiling the guidelines. As this physician is one of just a few specialists in his field, and he knows the others personally he did his own poll and found the consensus that was published was not the protocol that any of his peers would have or did suggest.
The new protocol is when injured the subject should be treated with muscle relaxers, pain pill and by a physical therapist for six weeks prior to being evaluated for surgery.
Now, do you think that any surgeon would create such a stupid, illogical protocol?
He suggested that only the insurance companies and the drug cartel would benefit from such a process.
